Assembly Line Material Handler
Location: Kansas City, MO
Labconco Corporation, a manufacturer of laboratory equipment, is seeking a Material Handler in our manufacturing facility. This person will be responsible for supporting an Assembly line to manufacture multiple complex products.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Basic knowledge of material handling processes.
- Supporting manufacturing functions in a material handling capacity (keeping production line stocked and receiving components)
- Experience following production schedules and kitting components through the use of BOMs.
- ERP system experience required (Syteline experience preferred)
- Safely utilize material handling equipment such as hand tools and forklift.
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs.
- General housekeeping.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualified candidates should have a minimum of the following:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Previous material handling experience.
· Ability to perform duties accurately with strong attention to detail and minimal supervision.
· Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
· Basic computer literacy and experience with ERP system maintenance and cycle counting.
· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel verbally and in writing.
· Strong initiative and drive.
Shift:
Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Temp to hire position.
